Koncept VR has been commissioned by World War II Foundation to create a 360 documentary about the landing of the Allied troops on Omaha beach on D-Day, June 6th 1944.
The film tells about personal stories of people that were there. With the voices of 3 veterans – Hal Baumgarten, Richard Fazzio and Don McCarthy – and 360 footage from todays beaches, combined with archival photos and films clips, the viewer can experience the hardship and difficulties the young soldiers had to endure to defeat Hitler’s armies.

Several panoramic illustrations has been drew to extend the archival footage on the 360 frames.
